  1. I believe that there is a difference between being confident and being conceited. for starters when some one is conceited they i aquire a subconscience believe that they are invincible. when someone is confident they usually had to build themselves up to that state. when one is confident they can still have times when they are hesitant and not confident in themselves. therefore, they are two different words... for a reason.

  2. Yes, there is. For example, a friend of mine is confident about their looks, but they are not conceited. Anyone can be confident of something, but if you are conceited; you only care about that. They have to look perfect ALL the time.

  3. Yeah, being confident means you know you can do something and beleive in your self. Self reassurance. But when your conceited its all about you, how great you are, how smart you are, or if you think you know for a fact you can do it and brag about it. If your conceited then your going to be blind until you realize your conceited and get over it.

  4. Yes, there is a difference to a degree. Some people come off conceited because they are very confident in their abilities. Other people are just concieted. Some people over-confident which leads to them being conceited. Some people have more confidence than they should have for their ability which has them as concieted. The difference between confident and concieted is the way they act. Just because they are confident doesn't mean they have to act as if they are the best. The best player on a team is one who lets their skills speak for themselves.

  5. I definitely believe there is a difference between confident and conceited. Conceited means you think you're better than everyone else, you can be confident without that kind of attitude. For example, if you're shooting a free throw, or hitting a golf shot you can be confident that you're going to make the shot, or make a good swing without thinking you're better than everyone else. It's good to be confident, not conceited.

  6. I do believe that there is a difference. Ever one should be confident so they feel good about themselves. But, when people are conceited they think to much about themselves.

  7. Yes i do think there is a difference between being confident and being conceied. I agree with that because being confident means you can do whatever you with out anyone stopping you. Being conceited is just you. you think everyting goes around you and not anyone else.

  8. yes, i think there is a big difference between being confident and being conceited. when you're confident you are happy with who you are. when you're conceited, you're full of yourself and into yourself.

  9. no being confident and conceited are different. being conceited is being self centered while being cofident is having faith in yourself. so there is definately a differnce. unless your to over confident and let everyone see it.

  10. there is a very thin line between being confident and being conceited. its good to be confident but in being to confident you can become conceited and thats not good. in being confident you know you limits and are willin to go past them sometimes but you you know that sometime you will fail at things. in being conceited you think you have no limits and think you wont fail no matter what, you wont give up on what your doing either. it can get rather annoying.

  11. Yes i do think there is a diifernece in being confident and being conceited. Being confident means that you believe in yourself and being conceited means that you think you are the best in something or look better than other people. And people are always saying that you need to have self confidence but it seems like people take that the wrong way and justy become so self conceited.

  12. I definantly think there is a difference between being confident and being conceited. If you are confident, that just means that you are sure of your ability to do something. Maybe it's something your good at, or something you're prepared hard for. If you are conceited, that means that you are self centered, or over confident of your ability to do something.

  13. I think that everyone needs to be confident but there is taking it too far. Some people think that they are the best at everything. SO yes there is a difference.

  14. Yes, I do think there is a difference. Someone that is confident can speak up for themselves. If your conceited there is something wrong because you need to stop being selfish and get over yourself.

  15. No of course there not the same thing.Only conceited people think that way. Its good to be confident of yourself but not to the point to where you think your better than everyone. Being confident about yourself means your not embarresd or scared to act yourself. Being conceited is an entirely different story. If your conceited then you think yuo own the world and that everyone should treat you like a King or a Queen.

  16. "Confidence is key," is said by most when telling someone to go for what they want, sometimes like in drugs one things lead to another, confidence when allowed to run free will most times morph into being concieted.

  17. Yes there is. i see being confident as where you think you can do something just as good as someone else. being conceited is where you think that you can do something better than anyone else and noone is better than you. conceited people are constantly focused on themselves and dont care about anyone else. Confident people do care about other people and dont think they are better than anyone else. maybe just as good as someone but never better.

  18. I think confidence and being conceited are different. Confidence shows that you are proud of yourself and are comfortable with who you are as a peson. Being conceited is a bit of over confidence. Someone that is conceited is confident but they only care about themselves. They want everyone to see them and give them praise.

  19. Yes, confidence is always a good thing. In order to be sucsessful today you need to have faith in yourself. Anything more than that confidence will hurt you and your relationships with people around you.

  20. I believe that there is a difference in confidence and being concieded. You should be confident in what you do but bragging is another thing. Be thoughtful of others and give them confidence as well.

  21. umm..yeah
    there is a big
    differece.
    If you ask me, confidence
is a good thing. if you don't
    have confidence i don't
    think it will ever be
    easy for you to accomplish
    anything in life.
you have to be confident to show that
you are who you are no matter
    what others say or think.
being concieded on the other hand is
terrible. who wants to be around
    someone who talks about
    themselves all the
    time...noone.

  22. Yes i think that if your confident then you know what you want. You have confidence in yourseft its because you know you can be whatever you put your heart to but if your conceited that just means that your full of yourself.. which isnt always good! :]

  23. Yes, there is a difference. I'm not fond of conceited people. I'd say I'm a confident person though. Conceited people are self-absorbed. Confident people are sure they are able.

  24. I think there is a HUGE difference between being confident and being conceited. Confident people are so much nicer than conceited people! Confident people dont go around saying Hey guys look at me i won this, or i won that! Conceited people do that and i hate when people do that. It bothers me so much i just want to slap them!

  25. Yes, i think there is a difference. If you have a reasons to be confident then it is alright. But if you are you are confident for no reason and confident all the time it can come off as you being conceited.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Yea, being confident is having good self esstem which can be mistaken for being conceited. Being concieted is when you think your better then most people. It's something alot of people are, but being confident is a blessing.

  27. Yes i believe that there is. Everyone needs some confidence to make it to big places in life. Although they may be seen as conceited they have to come off confindent that they can get the job done. Like many politicans or business leaders.

  28. Yes i think that there is. If your confident you won't be cocky and just step up when you need to. When your conceited you know your good and you always are bragging about yourself.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I do not think theres a difference between the to at all. Whos to say whether or not your being "conceited" rather then "confident".

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yes there is difference. Confident is being reassured of doing something you know you can achieve. Being conceited is thinking noone but yourself.

    ReplyDelete
  31. i definatly think there is a huge difference.Being confident you aren't looking at yourself badly and you just have a high self esteem.Being concieted is when you think your better than everyone and are stuck up and just have a horrible attitude.

  32. Yes I do think there is a difference. Confidence to me means you aren't afraid to try something new. You aren't afraid to put yourself out there. Being conceited is just like being self centered and not trying to put yourself out there because you believe that you are the center of the world.

  33. There is a huge difference between confident and conceited. Confident people have just enough confidence where they know they're good, but they don't annoy you. Conceited people are too worried about themselves and think too highly of themselves, therefore they are annoying.

  34. yes, i think if your confident, you know you can do that one thing and do it good. but i think if your too confident and you show it off that makes you concieted. you can be as confident as you want and still not be concieted.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Yes, there is. Being confident is knowing you'll be able to something really good& feel like you can be the best person you can be. If your conceited you aren't being very considerate to people that arent confident about themselves.

    ReplyDelete
  36. yes i do feel its a difference in being concited and being confident. when someone is concited their all into themselves, they thinking higher of themselves than anyone else they feel theres no one prettier than them, smarter, talented and anything else they think theres no one in the world who could be better than them and they let it show. Confidence is being proud of what you do and how you do it. When someone is confidence they do something without fear and with pride and they know how they are doing.
