  2. Yes, a cloth is stronger than the threads from which it is made. A cloth is stronger because it is made up with many pieces of thread. Even though the thread was used to make the cloth the cloth is what was made in the end. So the cloth is stronger than the thread that made it.

  3. I think it means that if everyone gets together we can make something stronger then ourselves. Also if everybody is cooperating then anything is possible. Also i think it suggest that everybody should try work together and keep an open mind.

  4. I think this quote is talking about how people working together can accomplish much more than one person on his own. Unity and cooperation go hand in hand, they feed on eachother. It takes cooperation to make unity, but it takes unity to have cooperation.

  5. By your self you are not as strong as you are in a group. If you are by yourself you might break, but if your in a group you can hold strong. Just like the quote suggest if your in a group you have support.

  6. It is the same concept as a chain. If you have one weak link the whole chain is useless. but if you dont it is strong and powerful.

  7. It suggests that people need to stick together because you are stronger as a group. This is kind of like the budy system. Sticking together is always best.

  8. This quote suggests that people who unite and cooperate have a stronger bond than those who don't.

  9. Its saying that people together are stronger than a single person. I believe that, that is true. When you work together more stuff gets done.

  10. I think it means that there is strength in numbers. and when a group of people bond together there is nothing that can tear them apart. As long have you have a group around you, you are invensible.

  11. I think that this quote suggests that we are stronger when we are united with one another. When we try to do things on our own, we sometimes fail, or aren't able to accomplish as much. But when we work together with others, we're stronger and great things can happen

  12. I think that it suggest that a group of people that work together is far better than a man/woman who works alone. There are strength in numbers.

  13. Nixon may have broken the rules in Watergate, but some of his statements had pearls of wisdom. This one in particular has a good weighty concept, stating that a greater number working together is stronger than any single fiber.Truth of this statement rings true no matter the issue, so when we work together as a human race we could do anything.

  14. It means that things are stronger when they work together. You can break a single peice of thread but you cant break a shirt. That is the same way for everything else. One man is not much of a threat but an entire Army is a different story.

  15. This could mean that even though a part of something is weak, all together it could be stronger. It could work together to be what it wants to be.

  16. I think that this means that if everyone is together as a whole they are stronger than a person standing alone!!!!! :]

  17. everyone needs to work together to accompish the same goal. you cant have two or three people doing two or three different things. Everyone needs to learn how to communicate and live with each other to get things done.

  18. It's saying that team work is better than just one person.

  19. It states that together we are stronger then we will ever be apart. Or Nixon might have been trying to rip a cloth and then realized the individual threads were easier to rip.

  20. I think that this person is trying to say that when we stand alone we are no match for anything. but when we are together and work together we are stronger than ever.

  21. I think that this quote suggest that everyone needs to work together to make things work. Like a football, in order to score points, you have to work together as a team. One person can do a lot, but together we can do much more.

  22. "A cloth is stronger than the threads from wihick it is made"
What does this quote suggest about unity and cooperation?

I think this quote means that people are stronger together, than they are apart. One person being alone wont have as big of and influence as 100 people together! People need to stop fighting shut up and stick together!

  23. It means you arent as strong by yourself as you would be as a team or group. A team together is much stronger than anyone by themselves. It tells you to work as a team.

  24. when a group of weak people unite, and work together in unity they can accomplish more rather than when one person tries to do it by themself.

  25. I think that quote means your clothes should not catagorize who you are socially. People should not look down on someone who wears wal-mart clothes just because they wear Dior. Catch my drift here? No one should be put down by the label on their tag. If it looks good it doesn't matter the price. :)

  26. it symbolizes that people come together and make achievements greater than one can by themself. It shows that people need to come together and perticipate to get a job done.

  27. A whole is stronger than one. If you put two together it is stronger than one. Working together is better than working alone.

  28. Unity is key in every aspect of life. There is definately strengh in numbers. You should go through life in cooperation with others rather than standing alone.

  29. I would agree with this comment. Its shows that one person isn't the strongest on their own but as a team. And as a team they are very strong.

  30. When threads are put together to make cloth it is stronger. Just like with a bunch of people got together they'd be more powerful together. One thread alone would break.

  31. That when you work together, you can accomplish something so amazing. Yet, if you do not cooperate with whoever you are working with the cloth wont be stronger than the threads. To me this quote tells how important it is to work together and cooperate with others.

  32. The thread represents one single person, and the cloth represents a group of people. One person can't do many things by their self. But with many people, you can accomplish a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  33. That one single person is strong, but not strong enough. With the help of everyone, not just yourself, you can easily do anything. Also that your stronger, and you can hold up anything with help, but when alone. You are just about powerless.

  34. if you don't have everyone doing their part, you'll have a weak cloth. one person is a thread, and if you have that weak thread that comes lose, all the threads will come apart. work together and the cloth will be strong.
